Katherine Scarlett Chapman and Kreagen Micheal Pray, both of 1605 Harrison, have announced their engagement.

Miss Chapman is a daughter of Rick and Regina Chapman of 1720 Wilmar Orchard. She is a 2004 graduate of Quincy High School and will graduate in December from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She also cares for her grandmother with Alzheimer's disease.

Mr. Pray is a son of John and Tina Pray of 3000 Lindell. He is a painter at the Knapheide Manufacturing Co.

The couple will be married July 26 in Clat Adams Park.
