Jeff and Lorraine Martin of Nokomis have announced the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Lorraine, to Tyler Mitchel Stuhlman, son of Larry and LeeAnn Stuhlman of Palmyra, Mo.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Nokomis High School and a graduate of the University of Spa and Cosmetology Arts in Springfield. She is an esthetician at InSparations in Quincy.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Palmyra High School and is employed by Ralls County Water in Hannibal, Mo.

The couple will be married Sept. 6 in St. John Episcopal Church in Quincy.
