On Sunday a warm front will to lift North of the Tri-States by midday. So while there is a slight
chance of showers/thunderstorms during the morning hours, the best chances of storms
will occur during the afternoon hours closer to the main weather system. The storm activity
ramps up during Sunday evening and into the overnight hours. And for Sunday we do have a
slight risk of severe weather so some of these storms could become severe, with large hail
being the main threat. Highs will reach into the upper 80's.
On Monday, the rain will taper off a bit before ramping back up late Monday afternoon and
through the overnight hours. Again, we will have a slight risk of severe storms. With the
chance of damaging winds, hail, and we can't rule out the chance of tornadoes. We will be
here in the StormTrak Weather Center though, to keep you up to date.
