Miss Shavon Lynn Williams and Leslie Thomas Standifer, both of Buckley, were married at 1 p.m. Jan. 30 in Champaign.

The bride is a daughter of Linda Williams of St. Charles, Mo., and Julia Russell and William Russell of 2808 Joyce Road. The bridegroom is a son of Mary Pewo of Antlers, Okla., and Jackie and William Standifer of Red Oak, Texas.

The bride was given in marriage by Jim Williams.

Maid of honor was Megan Leenerts. Bridesmaids were Ashlei Anderson, Missy Havermale and Sandra Browning.

Best man was Jared Valliens. Groomsmen were Corey Williams, Alex Russell and James Leenerts.

Flower girl was Alexxa Standifer.

A reception will be held at a later date in Quincy.

The bride is a veterinary technician at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center in Urbana. She is pursuing a registered nurse degree at Parkland College in Champaign and plans to graduate in 2010.

The bridegroom is a client infrastructure representative for Unisys Corp.
