Mr. and Mrs. Michael Atteberry Jr. are at home in Quincy after their marriage Nov. 10 in Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.
The bride, the former Miss Stacy Adams, is a daughter of Terry and Jill Adams of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Michael and Patti Atteberry Sr. of Peoria and the late Janet Savka-Atteberry.
Mr. Adams gave his daughter in marriage during the 3 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Wanda Seydel. Music was provided by Laura Kammerer, organist/pianist, and Doug Many, soloist.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Zilch of Quincy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Breanna Bechtold of Houston, Heather Burchall of Craig, Colo., Suzanne Meyer of Quincy and the bride's cousins, Tiffany Johnson of Shreveport, La., and Amy Thomas of Quincy.
Best man was Randy Juskiv of Peoria. Groomsmen were Jon Adams of Elgin, brother of the bride; Chris Brautigam, Gary Brautigam and Pete Brautigam, all of Dunlap and brothers of the bridegroom; and Chris Brown of Springfield, Mo.
Ushers were Jason Reliford of Sacramento, Calif., cousin of the bridegroom; Jimmy Harris of St. Louis; and Paul Zilch of Quincy, brother-in-law of the bride.
Flower girls were Mackenzie Shaw and Faith Sebren and ring bearer was Mason Johnson, all cousins of the bride.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Nov. 9 in the Patio. A reception began at 6 p.m. in the Elks Lodge. On Nov. 11, a wedding luncheon was held in the bride's parents' home.
The newlyweds plan a wedding trip later this year.
Showers in honor of the bridal couple were held Aug. 25, hosted by the matron of honor and bridesmaids, in the home of Jennifer Zilch; Sept. 8, hosted by Judy Argabright and Jackie Norris, aunts of the bride, and Sharon Schlipman, in the Granite Bank Gallery; Sept. 27, hosted by co-workers at Gardner Denver, in the home of Jenny Jenkins; and Oct. 13, hosted by Carol Carroll and Verita Reliford, aunts of the bridegroom, and Molly DuBois, cousin of the bridegroom, in the home of Carol Carroll in Metamora.
