After honeymooning in St. Lucia, Army Capt. and Mrs. Jeffrey Stephen Weaver are at home in Killeen, Texas.
Mr. Weaver and the former Britni Nicole Buford were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Jan. 12 in St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kahoka, Mo.
The bride is a daughter of Kevin and Rhonda Buford of Kahoka Route 2. The bridegroom is a son of Steve and Caryn Weaver, also of Kahoka Route 2.
Mr. Buford gave his daughter in marriage; the Rev. Kenneth C. Beckmann officiated. Music was provided by HL Plenge, vocalist; Wes Creech of Chesterfield, Mo., brother-in-law of the bride, guitarist; and Ida Lou Ross, pianist/organist.
Matron of honor was Bradi Creech of Chesterfield and maid of honor was Brenna Buford of Kahoka, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lisa Weaver of Kahoka, sister of the bridegroom.
Best men were Greg Weaver of Houston and John Weaver of Novelty, Mo., brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Brian Buford of Kahoka, brother of the bride.
Usher was Wes Creech.
Flower girls were Hannah Weaver and Maggie Weaver, nieces of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Zachary O'Day, cousin of the bridegroom.
A rehearsal dinner was held Jan. 11 in the Hawkeye in Keokuk, Iowa, hosted by the bridegroom's parents. A dinner and dance reception began at 6:30 p.m. at the Keokuk Country Club.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Clark County R-1 High School in Kahoka and a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science. Mrs. Weaver also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a doctor of pharmacy.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Clark County R-1 High School and a 2004 honor graduate of West Point Military Academy. Mr. Weaver is an Apache helicopter pilot assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas.
