    The Illinois Veterans Home on Friday paid tribute to all U.S. military veterans who lost their lives.
    This red, white and blue salute came during an hour-long Memorial Day ceremony on the grounds of the IVH campus. Hundreds of people, including veterans who live at the home, came to hear the patriotic speeches and music.

    Customers should notice little changes if federal regulators approve the merging of Bank of Quincy and Homebank. The sister companies have agreed to file an application with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis to merge banking operations. Upon approval, Bank of Quincy would take on the Homebank name.
