    The man accused of killing a 12-year-old Quincy boy in March was in the custody of Quincy police for 16 hours the day after the shooting before he was released. Steson L. Crider, 20, was a passenger in a 1999 Chrysler driven by his half brother Stefan K. Crider III, 24, that was pulled over by Sgt. Randy Wheeler at 1:20 a.m. on March 29 after it had left Town and Country Inn and Suites.
