Palmyra Police Department preparing to leave cramped space behind City Hall for new 3,100-square-foot facility

    Sunday, January 25 2015 3:28 AM EST2015-01-25 08:28:49 GMT
The Palmyra Police Department will soon take another step toward gaining much-needed breathing room.

Construction on a new standalone police station off New and North Main streets should begin in the coming weeks, depending on weather conditions. Completing the 3,100-square-foot facility will allow the department to move from cramped quarters behind Palmyra City Hall to a space that better serves its privacy and safety needs.
