The engagement of Heather Lynn Seals and Adam Vincent Cortese, both of 703 S. 18th, has been announced by their parents. A July 19 wedding is planned in Quincy.

The bride-elect is a daughter of James and Jenny Seals of 1256 Kentucky and Brenda Seals of 1500 N. 1403rd Lane, Fowler. She is a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School and is employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Jess and Dee Cortese of 2036 Payson. He is self-employed in flooring.
