American Dream way out of reach for many people

To The Herald-Whig:

What happened to the American Dream? We are living on food stamps, have no jobs, gas prices are too high to get to the few jobs left in America, people are losing their homes, food is so high people are going to bed at night hungry, medical insurance is so high people can't afford it. With no insurance, you can't get any medical care if you need it. There is government corruption everywhere. Every time they make a new law, you lose more of your freedom and more of the American dream. Are you wondering why the crime rate keeps getting higher? Read the beginning of this again.

We have three people running for president and all of them are making all kinds of promises about all this stuff and how they are going to change it -- from the war on. The truth is, none of them can change anything by themselves. All they can do is make a suggestion. It takes a majority vote from the Senate, the House and Congress and most important, you, the voter, so make your voice heard!

If there is any one of the three you think can do a better job with the Senate, the House and Congress, by all means vote for him. We all need a good laugh. Think about it -- no matter which of the three wins, that's all we are going to get. So put on that big smile and vote when the time comes.

The joke is on all of us! The dream is gone!
