Four arrested as part of investigation of burglaries at Flying Inn

The Adams County Sheriff's Department arrested four Quincyans Monday to end a two-week long investigation involving two burglaries at the Flying Inn Tavern, 1526 Highway 104.
Forced entry was made during the burglaries on Sept. 30 and Oct. 11, and alcohol and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken.
Arrested were Rodger S. Markley, 21, 435 N. Eighth; Alec K. Dedert, 21, 822 S. 13th; Amber M.E. Bainter, 19, 6806 Joan Ave; and Cara N. Briscoe, 18, 1620 Hamann Lane. All four were lodged in the Adams County Jail and later released. A court date has been set for Oct. 27.
The Quincy Police Department provided assistance in the investigation.
