"Being able to get through the regular season is a great feat for us. All of the girls' hard work paid off. I'm very excited for them."QND, ranked No. 2 in the Illinois Class 3A state poll, led St. Louis Notre Dame 31-26 at halftime before kicking its pressure defense and transition offense into high gear. A 22-9 third-quarter advantage pulled the Lady Raiders out to a 53-35 lead.Chloe Barnes led QND with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Karlee Gengenbacher finished with 17 points and six rebounds. Natalie Siebers added 12 points, while Renita Bunte had six rebounds and seven assists.It's only the second time in school history QND has finished the regular season undefeated. The 1982-83 team didn't lose on its way to the Class A state championship.The Lady Raiders open the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the Jacksonville Regional. They will play either Springfield Lanphier or Jacksonville at 6 p.m. Tuesday."It's going to be a challenge," Orne said.
