The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and a December 2005 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Miss Peters is a second-grade teacher at Mendon Elementary School. The prospective bridegroom attended Illinois Valley Community College, studying automotive technology.
