C-SC search for men's basketball coach nears end

Nearly 100 people applied for the position as men's basketball coach at Culver-Stockton College, and athletic director Pat Atwell hopes to make an offer to one of them by the end of this week. Atwell has been fielding calls and going through the search process since Feb. 28, when Jack Schrader was dismissed after seven years as the Wildcats' coach. He says he has "at least 25 people in my ‘A' folder who are qualified," and he spoke to between 15 and 20 of them on the phone.
