Aimee Gunther joined The Herald-Whig in July 2017 as an account executive in the Retail Advertising Department. She prepares advertising presentations for current and prospective customers - including layouts, budgets and advertising plans and is an expert on product, sales and marketing material to help her customers grow their business. Aimee earned a bachelor of science degree in management from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She has extensive previous sales, marketing and management experience. Prior to coming to The Herald-Whig, she worked for Lee Enterprises in a variety of roles, including research assistant, circulation operations manager, audience development director, niche product manager and most recently as classified advertising manager. In her spare time, Aimee enjoys cooking, outdoors, archery and her new life on her husband’s family farm.
