Tom Van Ness has been with The Herald-Whig since March 2008. Tom previously worked for the Denver Newspaper Agency publisher of the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News as an automotive advertising executive and major/national advertising executive. He also interned for The Herald-Whig and WGEM in 2004/2005. Tom graduated with a bachelor's degree in business communications from Westminster College, where he also worked for the school newspaper, The Columns. Tom serves as a volunteer for the YMCA of Quincy and sits on the United Way of Adams County Board and Executive Board.
