Gerri Berendzen has been editorial production coordinator at The Herald-Whig since 1997. She supervises the newspaper's copy editors and page design staff. She is a graduate of the master's program at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and received a bachelor's degree in history at Saint Louis University. Berendzen is a native of Kirkwood, Mo., and previously worked at newspapers in the St. Louis area.
