Tom Scott

Tom Scott is a copy editor at The Herald-Whig. His primary duties are editing stories and designing pages. He joined the newspaper in 2006. Before coming to Quincy, Scott was a copy editor at the Northwest Herald in Crystal Lake and the Courier-News in Elgin. He also has worked as a reporter and managing editor at Pioneer Press newspapers, a chain of weeklies in suburban Chicago, and at weekly newspapers in Wisconsin.

Tom received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Arizona State University. He is a native of Wabasha, Minn.
