A dozen trees along the north side of Harrison Street between 18th and 20th streets have been removed.
A dozen trees along the north side of Harrison Street between 18th and 20th streets, among the most trimmed in the city because they had grown into Ameren power lines, have been removed. City Engineer Jeff Steinkamp said the trees were removed to facilitate moving homes along Harrison from the southwest corner of 24th and Harrison, where the Good Samaritan Home is building new cottages.
