Julie Ann Marra has been a copy editor and page designer at The Herald-Whig since June 2010 and is also the entertainment editor. She earned her bachelor's degrees in journalism and mathematics at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Following her May 2008 graduation, Julie was a reporting intern at the Sierra Vista Herald in Sierra Vista, Ariz. From September 2008 to June 2010, Julie was a copy editor, page designer and reporter at Community NOW newspapers, based in Waukesha, Wis. The staff covered 27 suburbs of Milwaukee in eight weekly papers. Julie is a native of Glen Ellyn, Ill., a western suburb of Chicago.
