A Georgia man has his Coach brand, black leather wallet taken while at 20th and Oak on June 9. The wallet contained six cards, identification and an insurance card.

A New Hartford, Mo., man had his 2002 Cadillac entered while it was parked at Amtrak station at 2914 Wismann Lane between June 3-5. An envelope with miscellaneous papers was taken.

    County Market customers with smartphones can now download an app providing them with personalized offers, coupons and in-store maps. It just launched in 10 more County Market stores, including Quincy and Macomb; Hannibal, Mo.; and Fort Madison, Iowa. Steve Labs, store manager of the Hy-Vee at 14th and Harrison, said Hy-Vee stores in Quincy have been using their own smartphone apps for more than a year.

     A 67-year-old woman was fatally shot when several bullets were fired into her home Thursday morning southeast of Nauvoo. A male juvenile was taken into custody and faces possible charges of reckless and aggravated discharge of a firearm and involuntary manslaughter.
