It's difficult to figure out how we will cut the debt

To The Herald-Whig:

Let's see. This is what we are being sold about cutting our debt. Our accepted debt is $15 trillion.

We are to cut $1.5 trillion over a 10-year period. That is 10 years to do away with 10 percent of that debt. So does this really mean at this rate it will only take 100 years to pay off our debt? Of course this is not allowing for inflation.
