Culver-Stockton student honored at national competition

CANTON, Mo. " Culver-Stockton College senior Kelsey Vaughn was recently honored during the Phi Beta Lambda national competition.  

Vaughn ranked fifth nationally in the public speaking competition at the PBL Awards of Excellence held June 26. The native of Lewistown, Ill., is majoring in speech communication at C-SC.

C-SC students Abiade Adeleye and Catherine Carmean, senior business majors from Hannibal, also competed at the national competition. During the Missouri state competition, Adeleye placed first in the state in the Accounting Principles competition and Carmean placed third in Client Services.
