    A Quincy man being sought in a Monday morning home invasion on the city's northwest side was taken into custody on Friday morning in Paris, Tenn. Chadwick H. Kelly, 23, was apprehended by U.S. Marshals Service. He was immediately taken to the Henry (Tenn.) County Jail.

    The Marion County Sheriff's office has released a police sketch of the unidentified woman whose body was found in the Mississippi River just south of Hannibal last Sept. 15. The likeness of the woman is being circulated to news media organizations along with other information about her remains.

    Lynsey Whitaker of Quincy was named the 49th Adams County Fair Queen late Wednesday night.The 20-year-old Whitaker was one of 14 young women competing for the title, representing six different Adams County towns. The pageant was witnessed by a crowd of about 1,000.
