Thefts, burglaries
Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1400 block of North Seventh between July 31-Aug. 1.
Various gaming systems and a laptop computer were taken from a residence in the 900 block of Lind between July 16-23.
Billfold was taken from a Quincy woman's purse while she was at The Phoenix, 625 Maine, between 12:30-3 a.m. July 31. The billfold contained cash, credit cards, and various forms of identification.
Five storage units at 2821 Wismann Lane were broken into between Aug. 8-10.
Historic Quincy Business District reported fraudulent activity on their credit card account in Pennsylvania. Police gave no time frame.
Cash totaling $200 was taken from a residence on Grant Drive. Sugar was thrown throughout the living room. Police gave no date for the incident.

Black four-door 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix was taken from Quincy Auto Credit, 1333 N. 24th, between Aug. 13-15.
Residence in the 500 block of North 20th was entered between July 25-Aug. 14 and property was taken. Police did not reveal what was taken.
Air conditioner, Xbox, games, movies, television and cash were taken from a residence in the 600 block of North Seventh between Aug. 9-10.

Vandalism
Four tires were flattened on a Fowler woman's vehicle while it was parked in the 900 block of North 12th on July 21.
Owner of rental property at 808 Maine reports the property was damaged on June 14.
Three vehicles had tires cut while parked at Fourth and Jersey between July 13-14.
A Quincy woman's car was egged while it was parked on Koch's Lane on July 13.
Picture window at a residence in the 2000 block of Spring was shattered with a brick at 11:15 p.m. July 19.
Garage door was damaged on July 12 at residence in the 1400 block of Elm.
A 2002 Buick parked in the 1100 block of Chestnut on July 12 had a window, drivers side fender, rear drivers side door, both passenger doors and windshield damaged.
Vehicle drove through a yard at 1918 State and damaged a light and pole between July 23-24.
Window in a residence in the 1100 block of Chestnut was damaged between July 21-23.
Valve stem was cut on a trailer tire while it was parked at the rear of 644 Maine on July 19.

Two tires on a 1984 Ford F150 pickup truck were slashed while the truck was parked in the 400 block of Sycamore on July 24.
A tire was cut on a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Spruce between July 25-27.
Window was damaged at a residence in the 3200 block of State sometime around Aug. 7.
Window on a 2011 Jeep Cherokee was shattered while it was parked in the 1100 block of Cherry between July 30-31.
Fraud
A Quincy man reported to police he cashed a check he received to do mystery shopping. He wired some of the money back to the United Kingdom. The check was later determined to be fraudulent. He lost about $1,700.
