    The Hannibal Police Department has identified a suspect involved in a police shooting in downtown Hannibal Saturday night. DaMark L. Rudd, 24, of Hannibal, was identified as the driver of a vehicle that allegedly struck two other vehicles on North Main Street and collided with trees and a fence on Fulton Avenue as it attempted to flee from police. The department did not release the name of the 23-year-old passenger who suffered a gunshot wound during the incident.

     Hannibal Police Chief Lyndell Davis said in a press release early Sunday morning that one man, a passenger in a vehicle involved in the incident, suffered a gunshot wound about 9:15 p.m. Davis said the man was conscious and that his injuries were not life-threatening. Hannibal police are not releasing the names of anyone involved in the incident, including the officer who fired the shot.
