Which mailbox should I use at the main post office (36th and Locust) when I use the drive-up lane? They used to be labeled "in town" and "out of town."

It doesn't matter which box you use because the mail is sorted by machine inside.

 

The Columbus Road bike and walk path was damaged at 41st and Columbus Road during the Ameren substation renovation project this summer. Heavy equipment used in the project badly cracked and pulverized sections of the walkway. Are there any plans to repair the damage?

Yes. Ameren Illinois repairs damaged property after work is completed.

 

Are the buffalo going to be returned to the pen at the Illinois Veterans Home?

A new herd is expected later this fall, Illinois Veterans Home authorities say.

 

The huge sign of the Titan Company at 28th and Cedar is no longer there. Is it going to be restored or replaced?

The sign was damaged during the massive windstorm early this summer. The company plans to repair and replace the sign in the near future.
