John has worked as a teacher in the Payson School District, a salesperson for Compressor Parts and Service of Quincy, batting cage supervisor for the Quincy Park District, assistant boys basketball coach at Quincy Notre Dame and as a painter for A.H. Kemner and Sons. John also served as a volunteer wrestling coach at QND and is a soccer referee.
