A Warsaw couple already in the Hancock County Jail on unrelated burglary counts have been arrested in connection with the Dec. 15 burglary of Quincy storage units.

Items were taken from several storage units at 2925 Wismann Lane. Many of the items have been recovered by Hancock County Sheriff's Department, authorities said.

Dustin M. Armstrong, 27, and Adrian L. Armstrong, 22, have been lodged in the Hancock County Jail in Carthage since Jan. 18. A citizen's tip led to the arrest the Armstrongs and two others in connection with a rash of burglaries in Hancock County.

Acting on the tip, the Warsaw Police Department and Hancock County Sheriff's Department obtained search warrants for two Warsaw residences and said they recovered thousands of dollars worth of tools and other items taken in burglaries.

The warrants for the Adams County burglaries were issued last Friday. Formal charges are pending, authorities said.
