St. Francis Catholic Church was the setting for the Nov. 12 wedding of Miss Jayme Steinkamp and Tyler Stroot.
The bride is a daughter of Jeff and Cindy Steinkamp of 300 Lincoln Hill N.W. The bridegroom is a son of Dan and Lori Stroot of 3329 Callaway.
The bride was given in marriage by her father during the 1 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. James Wheeler. Also participating in the ceremony were Jessica Beaston, Leland Fischer and Pat Souders, readers; Linda Hooley and Gerard Fischer, gift bearers; and Stacy Kirkpatrick, Chris Wiemelt and Joe Steinkamp, Eucharistic ministers.
Attending the bride was her sister, Jenna Steinkamp of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Griffard of Lenexa, Kan., sister of the bridegroom, and Andrea Postiglione of Lincoln.
Best man was Jordan Stroot of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brennan Goodwin of Normal, Nate McNally of Quincy and Dan Griffard of Lenexa, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Jason Wiemelt of Denver, Colo., cousin of the bride; James Eyster of Quincy; and Matthew Brinkmeyer and Neil Brinkmeyer, both of Memphis, Tenn., and cousins of the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Ruby Griffard of Lenexa, niece of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Nov. 11 in the Lakeview Restaurant. A reception was held from 5 to 10 p.m. in the Ambiance.
After honeymooning in Destin, Fla., the newlyweds are at home at 1823 Spring.
The bride is a licensed esthetician at Tranquility Med Spa.
The bridegroom is a carpenter at Fischer Builders.
The bridal couple was honored with a bridal shower hosted by the bride's aunts, Linda Hooley, Shelly Steinkamp and Karen Steinkamp; a bridal shower hosted by the mother and sister of the bridegroom, Lori Stroot and Lindsey Griffard; and a bridal luncheon at the Women's City Club, hosted by the bride's aunts and grandmother, Chris Wiemelt, Stacy Kirkpatrick, Susie Souders, Amy Souders and Mary Souders.
