BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will add northwest Ohio to his state campaigning.
GOP
officials say Santorum will speak March 3 at the Lincoln-Reagan Day
dinner for the 5th House district. They say all Republican presidential
candidates have been invited to the dinner at Bowling Green State
University's student union.
Anti-tax activist Grover Norquist is the keynote speaker for the dinner.
Last
weekend, Santorum had campaign stops in Columbus, and in cities in the
southwest, northeastern, eastern and southern Appalachian sections of
Ohio.
Polls have indicated the former Pennsylvania senator has
been picking up support in Ohio, where former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt
Romney and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich have also made campaign
swings this month. Ohio has 66 delegates March 6, second-most among 10
"Super Tuesday" states.
