    The Quincy Exchange Club, sponsor of the 62nd annual Golden Deeds Award, is accepting nominations through April 11, 2014. The annual award honors a Quincyan for valuable and selfless service to the community. Nominees can be well-known community leaders or those who have worked out of the spotlight to improve life for others.

    If things go according to plan, the Quincy Park District could take over the Avenue of Lights holiday display in Wavering and Moorman parks as early as next year.
