Does Quincy still have the compost pile down by the river where a person can go get a pickup load for a fee just to load it in the truck?

Evans Recycling, 711 West Radio Road, has free compost. If you go during the week, you must load it yourself. They will load it for you on Saturdays. Call Evans at (217) 228-1432 for more information.

With spring arriving early, will Quincy be spraying for mosquitoes soon?

Yes. The City Council recently approved paying for a new shipment of chemicals, and they will be used as soon as they arrive.

Who do I call in Quincy when I have a question about our street or cracks in the road?

Your alderman is a good start. If you don't know who your alderman is, call City Hall at 228-4500. Central Services (228-4520) is also an option.
