Eleanor Roosevelt actress to highlight Louisiana Area Historical Museum benefit

LOUISIANA, Mo. -- An Eleanor Roosevelt impersonator will be the main attraction at a benefit luncheon Saturday for the Louisiana Area Historical Museum.

St. Louis actress Linda Spall will portray the influential former first lady during the luncheon at noon at Seton Hall, 508 N. Third in Louisiana.

Tickets are $12.50 and are on sale at the Louisiana Public Library and the Mercantile Bank of Louisiana. They also will be available at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the Louisiana Area Historical Museum, which opens May 26 for its 20th season and will begin offering a new children's program this summer.
