Matt Clark was happy to see all the children and adults having fun playing a spirited softball game Saturday on a diamond at Huckleberry Park in Hannibal, Mo.
Clark is the main force behind DreamCatchers, a group he founded in 2007 to help special needs children and adults. The softball game gave the people the program serves a chance to get out, get in some exercise and get excited about playing.
"The most rewarding part is ... just seeing the smiles on the kids' faces, seeing the smiles on the parents' faces," Clark said during the game.
Other DreamCatcher softball contests will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sept. 29.
