The Clark County football team is on the rise. The Indians (6-0) moved up two sports to No. 3 in Class 2 this week's Missouri rankings. Clark County will play at Centralia, ranked No. 5 in Class 3, on Friday.
Hannibal (6-0) also moved up, climbing one spot to No. 5 in Class 4. South Shelby (3-3) was among those receiving votes in Class 1 but wasn't in the top 10.
In Illinois, Central-Southeastern (6-0) and Illini West (5-1) remained steady at Nos. 5 and 7, respectively, in Class 2A. Quincy Notre Dame (4-2) is among those receiving votes in Class 4A.
