The engagement of Michele Lee Kaiserman and Eric John Hoffman, both of Omaha, Neb., has been announced by their parents. She is a daughter of Rhonda Kaiserman of Quincy and the late Herbert Kaiserman. He is a son of Ruth Hoffman, and Dave and Linda Hoffman of Omaha.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of journalism in advertising degree. She is a member of Phi Mu sorority, having served as president in 2007. Miss Kaiserman is an associate executive at the Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Bryan High School in Omaha, where he was salutatorian, and a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor of science degree in computer science. Mr. Hoffman is a senior Web developer at Hayneedle.

An April 13, 2013, wedding is planned at the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha.

It had been several years since Baker, an all-stater as a senior at Pittsfield High School, had seen the game. "I sure was awful skinny, and those shorts were awful short," he said with a laugh. "But it was neat to watch. It's kind of a blur, but I can remember plays that were called in every game. It's so surreal."
