The parents of Jennifer Brooke Mohr and Kenneth Duane Hardy have announced the couple's engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Chad and Jacqueline Protsman Mohr of Canton, Mo., and Dave and Kimberly Heitmann Crepps of Mendon. She graduated from Clark County R-1 High School in 2008, from John Wood Community College with an associate of applied science degree in 2010, and from Blessing Hospital School of Medical Laboratory Technology in 2011. Miss Mohr is employed by Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Dan Hardy of Luray, Mo., and Sandy Murphy Hardy of Fulton, Mo. He graduated from Wyaconda C-1 High School in 2001 and is a 2007 electrical mechanics graduate of Vatterott College. He is self-employed in his own business, Hardy Electric.

The couple will be married in an afternoon ceremony Nov. 3 in Kahoka (Mo.) Christian Church.
