Ronald and Sharon Knorr

Ronald "Ron" and Sharon "Sherri" Knorr of 8215 Ellington Road, Fowler, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner, hosted by their children, in Fiddlestiks restaurant in Hannibal, Mo.

Mr. Knorr and the former Sharon Bliven were married Oct. 6, 1962, in Salem United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Knorr is a daughter of the late Junior and Ethel Lee Bliven of Quincy. Mr. Knorr is a son of the late Roger J. Knorr and Freda E. Knorr of Fowler.

They are the parents of Leanne (Kent) Williams of Fowler and Dr. David (Kim) Knorr of Palmyra, Mo. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Knorr is a farmer and Mrs. Knorr is a homemaker.

They are members of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Midwest Tool Collectors Association and the Missouri Valley Wrench Club.
