Jerry and Mary Grauf

Jerry and Mary Grauf of Elvaston will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Carthage. Family and friends are invited; the couple requests no gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. Grauf were married Oct. 5, 1952, at the United Methodist Church in Carthage.

Mrs. Grauf is a daughter of the late Wendell and Mary Perry Walker of Carthage. Mr. Grauf is a son of the late Earl and Crystal Grauf.

They are the parents of Jacqueline Suprenant of Frankfort, Patricia (Bill) Harnett of Chicago, Janet (Dan) Carlisle of Carthage and Carol (Jeff) Brower of Hamilton. They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
