Roger L. and Mary A. Leenerts

Roger L. and Mary A. Leenerts of 1605 N. 1600th Ave., Fowler, marked their 30th wedding anniversary with a private celebration.

They were married Oct. 16, 1982, in the Christian church in New Bloomfield, Mo.

Mrs. Leenerts is the former Mary A. McKim, daughter of Thelma (Donald) McKim of Holts Summit, Mo. Mr. Leenerts is a son of Wanda (Roy) Leenerts of Clayton.

They are the parents of Beth and her husband, Alex Pendergraff, of Quincy.

Mr. and Mrs. Leenerts own and operate JR's Repair south of Paloma.

They are members of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Coatsburg and enjoy sales, flea markets and antique hunting, along with watching Mother Nature.

Tony Baker recently watched a video of the 1991 Class A state championship game with his 11-year-old daughter. It had been several years since Baker, an all-stater as a senior at Pittsfield High School, had seen the game. "I sure was awful skinny, and those shorts were awful short," he said with a laugh. "But it was neat to watch. It's kind of a blur, but I can remember plays that were called in every game. It's so surreal."
