Jim and Judy Reid

Jim and Judy Reid of 933 Adams will observe their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married Nov. 3, 1962, in the home of the Rev. Mauck at 633 Oak.

Mrs. Reid, the former Judy Sparrow, is a daughter of the late Herman and Gwen Thompson Sparrow. Mr. Reid is a son of the late Herald and Margret Miller Reid.

They are the parents of Jimmy Reid, Danny Reid, Bob (Kelli) Reid and Forrest Reid, all of Quincy, and John (Tyann) Reid of Payson. They have eight grandchildren.

Mr. Reid was employed by Gardner Denver for five years, Moorman Manufacturing Co. for seven and one-half years and by Celotex for 25 years. He enjoys fishing, hunting and camping.

Mrs. Reid was a homemaker until her children were raised and then was employed by the city of Quincy. She was a door greeter at The Crossing at 929 Monroe for two years and enjoys walking with her friend Sue, listening to country music, and shopping and going to lunch with her sister Jennifer.

Mr. and Mrs. Reid were both baptized at St. Mary Church, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
