Rebecca Fitch and Luis Mazzotti exchanged wedding vows Sept. 22 at her parents' home in Carthage.

The bride, of Mendon, is a daughter of Terry and Janet Geissler of Carthage. The bridegroom, of Iowa City, Iowa, is a son of Barbara Mazzotti and Luis Mazzotti of Miami.

Clayton Hentzel conducted the 11 a.m. ceremony; the bride was given in marriage by her son Gavin.

Maid of honor was Torrie Post of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Nora Jones of Lima and Nancy Geissler of Quincy, sister-in-law of the bride.

Best man was Mario Arguelles of Iowa City. Groomsman was Mark Geissler of Quincy, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the bride's parents' home.

The newlyweds are at home in Mendon and plan a wedding trip at a later date.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Carthage High School and graduated from the emergency medical technician program at John Wood Community College this year. She is employed by Mercantile Bank in Quincy and Memorial Hospital in Carthage.

The bridegroom graduated from Florida International University in 2010 and is employed by RR Donnelly in Iowa City.
