Richard joined The Herald-Whig in November 2012 as a district manager in the Circulation Department, a position he previously held for several years before leaving the area.

Richard is a graduate of Pittsfield High School and Gem City Business College and attended John Wood Community College. In recent years, he has worked as a general manager for the U-Haul company and worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Quincy.
