Darrel and Linda Beadle

Darrel and Linda Beadle of 1624 Chestnut will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 18 in the South Side Boat Club. The event will be hosted by their children. Family and friends are invited.

Mr. Beadle and the former Linda Franklin were married Nov. 17, 1962, in Bethel Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Beadle is a daughter of the late Charlie and Eva Franklin. Mr. Beadle is a son of the late Ona W. Beadle.

They are the parents of Gregory Beadle, Lisa (Rodney) Hoffman and Jeffery Beadle, all of Quincy, and Tonia (David) Lohman of St. Louis. They have four grandchildren.

Mr. Beadle is owner and operator of Dean Income Tax Service Inc. He retired from Quincy Compressor on Feb. 1, 2002, after 28 years of employment. He is enrolled to practice before the IRS and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Mrs. Beadle is employed by Dean Income Tax Service Inc. She is a St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys traveling.

They are members of Bethel Assembly of God Church.

The couple met through Mr. Beadle's sister, Doris Perry.
