HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A deer crashed through two windows of the Medical Building at Hannibal Regional Hospital at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The building was closed at the time, but a staff member on duty heard the commotion.

"One of our team members was actually in the building and heard the crash," said HRH spokesman Robin Doyle.

Doyle said the deer shattered one window to enter the building and a second window to exit.

Doyle said the hospital arranged for new windows to be installed by 9 a.m. and the installation process had already begun. Work was expected to be completed by late morning today.

"Everything is cleaned up," Doyle said. "It's business as usual."
