Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in New Orleans was the setting for the May 19 wedding of Miss Andrea Rae O'Neil and Kristofor Paul Nelson Markway.
The bride is a daughter of Diane Jennings of Quincy and Daniel O'Neil of Edison, N.J. The bridegroom is a son of Paula Lindner of Marion and Larry Markway of Quincy.
The Rev. Anthony Rigoli conducted the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. Music was provided by Roberto Matthews, pianist and vocalist. Readers were Lynn O'Neil, aunt of the bride; Sister Linda Markway, aunt of the bridegroom; and Maggie Erd of Quincy.
Matron of honor was Maggie Erd. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Leach of Quincy; Kristi Musser of Minneapolis; and Andrea and Adriel Markway of Quincy, sisters of the bridegroom. Junior bridemaids were Kelly O'Neil of Edison, sister of the bride, and Enya O'Neil of New York City, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Blaine Markway of Fort Riley, Kan., brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Kyle Winking of Chicago, Chris Hill and Matt Denton, both of Houston, and Anand Patel of Ann Arbor, Mich.
Ushers were Sage O'Neil of New York City, cousin of the bride, and Dan Nelson of Sherman, uncle of the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Reese Terstriep of Quincy, goddaughter and cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Cole Terstriep of Quincy, cousin of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner was held May 18 in the Bourbon House. A cocktail hour and reception immediately followed the ceremony at Musée Conti: New Orleans Wax Museum.
The bridal couple is at home in Baton Rouge, La., after honeymooning in Morocco.
The bride and bridegroom are 2003 graduates of Quincy Notre Dame High School. The bride is a 2007 graduate of Saint Louis University and a 2011 graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She is an audiologist at Our Lady of the Lake Hearing and Balance Center. The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is a mechanical engineer at ExxonMobil.
