MEDILL, Mo. -- A 47-year-old Luray, Mo., man sustained moderate injuries Saturday morning after the truck he was driving overturned one mile west of Medill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Steven W. Schantz was driving a 1997 Ford F150 west on U.S. 136 when the truck dropped off the right side of the road. Schantz over-corrected and crossed back over the road before going off the left side. The truck overturned and came to a rest on the driver's side.

Schantz was transported to Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Mo., by Clark County Ambulance.

Assisting were the Clark County Sheriff's Department and Clark County Rescue.
