Larry and Reva Ehmen

Larry and Reva Ehmen of 735 McKee Drive are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary by hosting a trip with their children and grandchildren.

The couple was married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 1962, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen.

Mrs. Ehmen is the former Reva Post, daughter of the late Chris and Fannie Post. Mr. Ehmen is a son of the late E. Dale and Meveline Ehmen.

They are the parents of Michelle and her husband, Douglas Quinn, of Woodridge, Bradley and his wife, Karol, and Heidi and her husband, Bill Schlipman Jr., all of Quincy, and Ryan and his wife, Lynn, of Springfield. They have 13 grandchildren.

Mr. Ehmen retired from Fisher's Office Plus and is a partner in Twin Mill Investments.

Mrs. Ehmen retired from the Quincy Public Schools where she served as school health nurse.

They are members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he has served in various offices and she serves as choir director and is a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. They both have participated in many community activities.
