Scouting the Bulldogs: Truman has been the king of the slim defeat so far. The Bulldogs' two regular-season losses were by a combined eight points, and their two exhibition losses to Division I foes came by a combined 18 points.

Mike Carlson, a 6-foot-9 junior forward, leads Truman at 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Seth Jackson, a 6-3 sophomore guard, averages 13 points per game. Truman hosts Central Christian (Mo.) on Monday before facing the Hawks.

Playing matchups: Drake Vermillion, QU's 6-10 sophomore center, started in the Hawks' 83-82 loss Wednesday to Iowa Wesleyan, but he exited with 15 minutes, 53 seconds remaining in the first half and did not return. QU coach Marty Bell said facing Iowa Wesleyan's undersized lineup just wasn't the right matchup for Vermillion.

The series: Quincy leads the all-time series 58-50.
